We began our time together with our first visit with our 4k Buddies. Students had an opportunity to get to know their little buddy and come up with a secret handshake!
We've been working in teams as part of our teambuilding time to create the best paper airplane we could! We determined a class winner who went on to compete against their grade level. We ended it with the top teams from each 3-5 grade level doing a fly off. It was super fun!

Monday, September 18th
Aydan began our first week of rockstars by bringing in his 3 special things. One of them was his cat, Mister.
The 5th grade got a chance to do the Survive Alive House. They braved the tiny quarters and smoke simulation. It was very valuable to review those important concepts.
FINALLY... book check out day!!!!!!!!!!!!
