Mallory moved over to 30 books! Her favorite thus far is Tuck Everlasting... one we are currently passing around!

Let's give a drumroll for Mason! He's sitting at 20 books. He has been a reading machine lately:)

Way to go, Keenan! He is a sweet reader and a sweet boy! Keep it up.

YAY!!! WE HAVE OUR FIRST TWO 40 BOOKERS!

Charles joined the 40 book club. He's well past 40, in fact.  He couldn't pin point his favorite book of the year. Too many to name.

Robert also is an avid reader and well past 40.  He is my go to when I need a book read to find out if all the hype is true. Keep going, Bobby!

5th graders celebrated national PIE day (3.14). We were lucky enough to have our school board president, Mrs. Uselmann, join us for a great bubble activity. Students were trying to get their diameter to as close to 3.14 as possbile.

Of course we also made pie!

Evy and Hayden were our rockstars the past 2 weeks!

We celebrated Read Across America week in a few different ways. One was to have our very own Mrs. Carnes come read us a few picture books.  Being the reading specialist, she had a few very fun ones for us to hear!

Kade was in charge of our quote last week.   She chose Mady W to receive it. She thinks Mady always has a smile on her face and is nice to everyone, I agree!  Great job, Kade.

What a concert! I adored seeing so many 45ers in lead roles up on that stage- proud teacher moment! I was busy taking videos, so I didn't get as many pictures, but here are a few to enjoy. Nice job, everyone!

Keenan was our rockstar this week. Keenan is always a pleasure and we enjoyed hearing more about him throughout the week.

Student Council challenged Rosenow to a door decorating contest revolving around reading... Here's our door. A VERY close 2nd (1 vote to be exact) behind Mrs. Zangl's awesome door.

Emma and Leah are moving up in the 40 book challenge.  Wishtree and The Giver continue to be their favorite books.   Keep it up, girls.

The kids loved our team building challenge this week... students had a name put on their back (deceased, alive, famous, ordinary, cartoon... you name it). They had to walk around and ask their classmates yes or no questions to figure out their mystery.

A few of our talented classmates, that will be performing in the talent show, performed for us!  Mrs. Klauck even joined in Robert's talent and gave it a try!

Mason was in charge of our quote this week. His quote was perfect, "You'll miss 100% of the shots you don't take."  He awarded it to Keenan. He notices Keenan never giving up in math, even when it's tricky.

Buddies this week... FINALLY!  We've been missing them.  We did a St Patrick's Day bingo and had a blast.

Look at the cuties I got to spend my lunch with. Isla celebrated her 30 book hard work.
