Story Plots

We having been working hard at finding the story plot of fiction stories (beginning, rising action, climax, falling action and the resolution). Last week, students worked in small groups to read a picture book together and plot the events. They then thought of a picture that resembled an arch, like the arches found in books. They designed a poster and presented to the class.

Happy Halloween!

The 45ers enjoyed a great afternoon on Friday. They watched a movie with popcorn and juice in the gym and were sent home with an awesome goodie bag. We ended our day watching the K-3 march in the annual parade. Thank you to everyone who donated supplies, food and juice. We appreciate your time.

Giving Back to Our Soliders

We will be making a few soldiers overseas very happy with the generosity the students showed.  Some of the students partnered up with Dr. Doyle's Dentistry in Fond du Lac to give a portion of their candy to soldiers overseas.

Say Cheese!
Today we had a special visitor Ann, Agricultural Ambassador, present to us on the Wisconsin history and making of cheese. Students watched a short video and taste tested cheese, learning the differences between the many they tried.

We worked hard and quickly on a video for Monday morning kickoff next week. The task was brought on us this week and the students worked hard to pull it together. While we weren't able to get everyone and all scenes shot due to the 5th grade field trip, this is just the beginning!

Student Council

Congratulations to all the students who presented their fabulous speeches to try to become one of Rosenow’s Student Council Leaders.  It was very hard to choose just 6 for the Leadership Team because we have so many students with great leadership skills.  This year’s Student Council Leadership team is comprised of Sydney Arndt, Maddy Draves, Sarai Draves, Madison Lemke, Matthew Sesing, Madalyn Wondra.  All students who gave speeches will be assisting the leadership team with various activities throughout the year.  Job well done!
