Soaring to Success

Our airplane challenge fit perfectly into our school theme: Soar to Sucess. Students worked in groups of three to research and design an airplane that they thought would soar the furtherest. Through trial and error, they decided and built an airplane. As a class we competed against one another to secure 2 classroom winners.  Our "5th" grade team winners were Landon, Sean and Wyatt.  Our "4th" grade team was Dylan, Terry and Jamiere.  Both teams successfully beat the other grade level winners to go onto the championship round!!!  The championship round consisted of the top winners from 3rd, 4th and 5th in front of the whole school following our fundraiser kickoff! I'm proud to say the 2014 Soar To Success winners was the 4th grade team!!! Nice work everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!
