2nd day success :)

The students adored Kahoot yesterday so we tried it again today. This time they had to figure out which lie was being told by each of their classmates. Once the answer was revealed, the students had an opportunity to share more info about their unique 2 "truths."

We went on a book scavenger hunt today to get to know all the books in our classroom library. They had to dive in and find all sorts of books on their hunt.  Many also snatched up the first book they want to read this year!

SAVE FRED!!!  

Another awesome activity to get to know one another while working together. Students had to save poor Fred, the gummy worm, whose boat tipped over and life saver is stuck under it. The catch- no hands!!

ART GRIT-

Mrs. Cowles was very impressed with Amber's GRIT in art today. 

I was equally impressed with the math pretest (yes a test) the students took today and buckled down on.
