We have been busy last week decorating the gym hallway! Each student picked 2 staff members to write a thankful letter to. They turned out great and are getting many appreciative, raving reviews! Taking and printing all these pictures made the blog take a backseat. Here's my attempt to catch up!
Our team building activity last week was called, "Run, See, Draw." It required very good communication skills. There was a drawing out in the hallway that only one group member could see. They would tell the details to the "middle" person, who would go tell the "drawer." They were trying to copy the picture in the hallway as close as possible! Some were close and others made us giggle :)

Cynthia was our rockstar. Here she is sharing her favorite photos. This one happens to contain her step brother, Arron, who was in our classroom last year!
Our SWAT team (students working as teachers) made their first appearance. This is a group of Fondy students who come teach character building lessons. Always a much anticipated visit!
We played a fun vocabulary game with the words we tune into from our poem of the week! Students had to listen to clues and then throw a sticky ball at the correct answer.
Another teambuilding activity we did was to guess the differences between our pictures with our partner... sitting back to back!!
Emma is also our rockstar since our last post! We enjoyed getting to know her!
Our first indoor recess of the year! Many of the 4th graders took advantage of the gym but here are a few activities from our classroom!
