On Friday, we did one of my favorite team building activities!!  Students were placed in groups of 3. The test was to draw a picture just like one I had drawn. The challenge... only 1 team member could see the picture. They described it to the 2nd person, who then went over and described it to the drawer.   Much like telephone they had to have good communication and listening skills!

We also had our final visit from the SWAT team. They talked about bullying with us by having us perform some skits. We also asked them great questions about themselves that helped some of us see the importance of our future already in 5th grade. 

5th graders can't have all the fun... check out the project 4th is doing while 5th works on their straws! Another test of patience.  Here are our first 2 completed ones.

No better way then to have DeJanae and Addison lead us for MMKO. Our student council also had a hand in presenting today!
